ASHA Perspectives offer several types of opportunities for earning ASHA continuing education units (CEUs).
Earn CEUs online. Divisions that are ASHA-approved Continuing Education Providers enable their affiliates to earn Continuing Education credits for self-study of Perspectives. Currently, self-study is available for Perspectives published by all divisions with the exceptions of Division 4, Fluency and Fluency Disorders and Division 10, Higher Education. The publication schedule [PDF] varies by division, as does the number of CEUs available for any given issue. CEUs range from .1-.4 CEUs per individual issue and cannot be determined or guaranteed in advance of publication.
Study questions are published online with each issue offered for CE self-study. Affiliates can review the questions before taking the exam online at a secure Web site. A processing fee of $5 per exam is required. A Certificate of Completion is generated and archived online for each successful completion of a self-study. Results are reported to the ASHA CE Registry and CEUs are awarded to individuals who have paid Registry fees.

Learn & Earn for authors of accepted Perspectives articles. If you are an author of a descriptive or research article accepted for publication in Perspectives, you may earn up to 2.0 ASHA CEUs (20 hours).
