Speech-Language-Hearing Health Disparities in Young Children

Communication disorders are among the most prevalent disabilities in young children. This research examined the effectiveness of a consultative model for providing speech, language, and hearing health services to preschool children in a rural Appalachian community. Outcomes from this project may be useful in other disadvantaged or underserved communities.
