Academic Preparation for the School-Based SLP: A National Survey

The purpose of this study was to ascertain the number of ASHA accredited graduate Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) programs offering specific course work addressing school-based issues for the speech-language pathologist. This research was conducted through e-mail survey distribution to 250 universities and colleges across the United States. The results are presented with pedagogy development and program planning suggestions.
