Administration of a Literacy-Based Curriculum by Teacher and SLP Teams

The Intercampus Program of Communicative Disorders, The University of Kansas

A literacy-based language curriculum for Native American and Hispanic American children was jointly administered by four speech-language pathologist (SLP) and teacher teams. Analyses indicated that teachers, when trained and provided with structured lessons, were able to co-administer a curriculum designed to improve language and literacy skills in the classroom.
